- Workers are expected to possess the skills to work in the production of crops or agricultural commodities listed in this job order. The introductory period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of the job and to familiarize workers with job specifications and to demonstrate proper methods and crop or commodity specific issues. Sit, walk, stoop, bend, push, pull and reach for prolonged periods of time. Lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Perform repetitive movements. Climb up to 100 ft. Wade in water up to 24 inches deep. Work outdoors in hot, cold and/or wet weather. Drug testing and criminal background check conducted post hire at the employer's expense and is not part of the interview process. Negative results are required before starting work. Background checks will be conducted. Hazardous occupation.
