Job Duties:

Temporary Seasonal Position: Ranch Hand | SOC Code: 45-2093 All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period. Kraus Angus Farm, LLC, Dyersburg, TN, Dyer Possible shift: 8:00AM-1:00PM. 35-40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Various Farm Animals. Duties may include: Feed, care, and maintenance of cattle and other farm animals including: moving and herding to other enclosures, regular examinations for health, cleaning stalls, pens, and relative equipment. Maintenance of farm land, pastures, and equipment in the form of mowing and weed eating of the pastures, inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences using a variety of hand tools and power equipment. Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment & other related Ranch Hand activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Must have 3 months Farm Worker; Cattle exp.Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hrs may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours. Must be 18 years of age. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show legal authorization to work in the United States. Cash advances may apply at employer discretion.
