- Job Duties:
- Clean all harvest equipment: John Deer cotton picker(1), John Deere combine(1), Armadas peanut digger(1), Armadas peanut combines(2), grain carts(2), and all John Deere tractors(6), using water and compressed air. Disassemble equipment by hand to inspect wear and condition. Create a list of all repairs of bearings, and parts that need replacing. Procure parts, repair and reassemble equipment; may require welding or cutting torch. change oil in all tractors, vehicles and big trucks. Repairs must be done inside our on farm shop during these months since the machinery is not in use in the field. Driving pickup to obtain parts and supplies for repairs.
