- Job Duties:
- The pre-season maintenance tasks will be done to machinery during the months of December - April when our farming duties have halted and the machinery is not in use. We begin planting our crops in the beginning of May. List of equipment: (2) Planter/Drills, (1) Combine, (8) Tractors, (6) Semi Tractors, (9) Irrigation Pivots. All the machines and equipment will go through a thorough inspection, service, and repair process. Each machine will have a manufacturer's annual maintenance procedure that needs to be followed to ensure proper operation of the equipment during the work season. This winter work process will include the disassembly and reassembly of major components for replacement of bearings, lubricants, filters, parts, worn components, surfacing and welding of cracks. Cleaning of each machine must be done prior to any maintenance work. The work will include heavy lifting of machine parts and holding them in place during reassembly. Equipment: Tractors, Air Drills, Planters, Sprayers, Combines, Semi Trucks, Irrigation Pivots, Skid Steers, Forklifts, Hay Cutters, Balers, Rakes, Grain Carts, Augers, Conveyors

- Special Requirements:
- The worker must be able to handle complex tasks that require logical thought, care, paying attention to details. Must be able to drive to town to get parts for the equipment so valid drivers license is required or be able to obtain within 30 days. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Frequent stooping. Must have 12 months experience or 12 months on the job training. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. High school/GED education required. Wage rate my increase based on verifiable experience.
