Job Duties:
Work to be performed: The Harvester and Grower hereby agree that Harvester shall perform the following work for the Grower: a. Harvester will harvest strawberries, cut/trim strawberry plants, plant strawberries, lay plastic and irrigation and perform general farm labor as specified by the Grower on the Growers property for the time period, on the sections of the property that the Grower designates. b. The Harvesters field workers duties may involve, but not limited to: manually planting, cultivating, and harvesting vegetables, fruits and field crops. Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. May construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, or participate in irrigation and plastic activities. DUTIES MAY INCLUDE: Tilling soil, level land, bed rows, lay/pull drip, connect/disconnect drip, patch/repair drip, lay plastic, patch/repair plastic, cut and tuck ends of plastic, pull/burn plastic, shovel work, digging/ cleaning ditches, set/fix rain birds, punch holes, set vegetables, plant seeds/plants, transplanting, cut runners, trim leaves on trees and bushes, weeding, thinning/pruning, chopping/twisting plants, stake vegetables, string vegetables, pick up/burn trash, lay ground cover, pull grass, operate plastic machine, loading/unloading plastic and drip rolls onto plastic machine, put in drain pipes, paint, hoe, cleaning equipment, operate equipment, load/unload vehicles. Making/assembling boxes, bundle boxes, load/unload boxes, operate box making machine, operate tie strap machine, attach tags to products, label products, stamp product, clean (mop/dust, etc.) Harvesting strawberries, squash, peppers, watermelons, cucumber, beans, eggplants, tomatoes, cantaloupe, blueberry, raspberries, lettuce, cabbage, onions, potatoes, carrots, pecan, apples, peaches, celery, cilantro, broccoli, peas, asparagus, corn, honeydew, cauliflower, mustard, collard greens. NOT LIMITED TO. Planting transplant plants or seed for: strawberries, squash, peppers, watermelon, cucumber, beans, eggplant, tomatoes, cantaloupe, blueberry, raspberries, lettuce cabbage, onions, potatoes, carrots, pecan, apples, peaches, celery, cilantro, broccoli, peas, asparagus, corn, honeydew, cauliflower, mustard, collard greens. NOT LIMITED TO.

Special Requirements:
52LB LIFTING TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER HEAVY BENDING AND STOOPING REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS 2 DAY TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER. The training period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of farm work and to familiarize workers with the job specifications and to demonstrate proper harvest methods and other crop specific issues.
