Job Duties:

We operate a 15 section cow/calf ranch, seasonal fencing, dirt/earth and pond renewal and new construction, road repair, dam and levee construction. Employee must be able to operate excavating equipment and complete routine maintenance on that equipment. During the winter cattle are confined for calving. During this time employees will need to assist with birthing, feeding and care of cattle. Also build and repair fences in pasture for spring when cattle are released back in pasture. During the spring, summer and fall animals do not need feeding and special since they are in pasture. During the winter months employees will assist with dirt and earth moving to renew ponds and construct dam and levees. This work cannot be done during the period when animals are in the pastures.

Special Requirements:

Must have a regular driver's license. Job requires extensive sitting, exposure to extreme temperatures, repetitive movements, extensive walking, pushing, pulling and frequent stooping. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at employer's expense to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Employer will conduct a post-hire criminal background check and will not employ any employee with a violent/theft criminal background history. Require 3 months experience.
