Job Duties:
Job duties for rice and crawfish farm include crawfishing in boats, catching crawfish, performing crawfishing duties in fields; trapping crawfish; bait/grade/wash crawfish; make repairs to boats as needed; water maintenance; manual shovel work; tractor, equipment, and truck driving; field prep.; maintenance and repair; load/unload trucks; leveling rice bins; wash equipment; general farm labor; job involves frequent stooping, lifting, exposure to extreme temps.; three months experience required in similar occupation. Base hours offered is 40 hours offered; overtime hours are usually offered during plentiful season and may include an additional 10-40 hours of overtime work depending on the nature of the season; higher wage may be paid based on experience.
