- Operating large John Deere and Case IH farm equipment equipped with GPS (auto guidance) for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting and harvesting of grain and oilseed crops such as rice; walking fields to pull off-type plants; assessing field conditions and crop maturity for adjusting down pressure of openers, threshing settings of combines, and flow rate of sprayers; assist with drying seed; operating and maintaining irrigation systems for watering crops; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
