IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING WAGES FOR TEMPORARY AGRICULTURAL JOBS

The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Drives/operates modern farm equipment with GPS technology to plant, cultivate, fertilize, harvest, store grain crops of soy beans canola and haul crops. Attaches farm implements, e.g. plow, disc, drill to tractor and drives tractor, till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tows harvesting equipment, drives/operates self-propelled combine to harvest crops such. Performs other duties like lubricating, repairing farm machinery and transports produce to elevator or storage area.
