- Job Duties:
- DURING THE ANTICIPATED WORK PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT, THE PRIMARY ACTIVITY ON THE FARM WILL BE THE PLANTING, CULTIVATION, AND HARVEST OF TOMATOES, APPLES, PEACHES, AND CABBAGE, ALONG WITH THE PACKING OF TOMATOES. DUTIES MAY INCLUDE WEEDING AND FERTILIZING OF CROPS. ANY WORKER THAT HAS A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE MAY BE ASKED TO DRIVE A MOTORIZED VEHICLE TO AND FROM DIFFERENT FARM LOCATIONS. THIS IS NOT REQUIRED, IF THE WORKER DOES VOLUNTEER TO DRIVE HE WILL BE COMPENSATED FOR THE EXTRA TIME AT THE HOURLY RATE.

- EXPOSURE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES, BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE, LIFTING 50LBS, REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS, EXTENSIVE PUSHING AND PULLING, EXTENSIVE WALKING, FREQUENT STOOPING. The employer will not guarantee to pay the workers a bonus but reserves the right, at the employers sole discretion, to offer a bonus or to pay an hourly wage rate in excess of the highest applicable rate stated above based on longevity of tenure or exceptional job performance. The employer reserves the right, at the employers sole discretion, to temporarily raise the above listed piece rate due to crop conditions. In the tasks where there is no prevailing practice to pay a piece rate, the employer, at his sole discretion, may opt to pay per hour to ensure a good quality product.
