- Job Duties:
- Greenhouse seeding work. Planting of transplants in field and greenhouse. Cultivation of field and greenhouse crops. Harvesting of crops. Wash, pack, fill orders. Duties may include: tilling soil, use of hand tools such as hoes, shovels, weeding, washing of food processing area, containers, refrigerators. Work is performed outdoors in all weather, sometimes under extremely hot, cold, dry, and wet conditions. Work is physically demanding, and requires extreme endurance. Work may require heavy lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and carrying up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. We require basic understanding of English or Spanish for safety instructions. We require 2 months experience in above listed duties.
