Job Duties:

Job duties require operating custom harvesting machinery to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops; changing cutting heads as appropriate for crops; and operating farm equipment. Farm equipment that employees will operate includes but is not limited to tractors, combines, sprayers, planters, disks, and eighteen wheelers. Employees will plant, spray, and harvest crops at the employer’s worksite and will only perform harvesting duties at the locations listed in the itinerary. Duties also include manual labor such as performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment and around the farmstead; driving trucks to transport product to elevator or storage area; and possibly using hand tools in fields if necessary. Employees must have or be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire; 3 months experience; a CDL; and basic English literacy, reading, and math skills. Increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
