- Job Duties:
- Plant work: Packaging- Ability to work with packaging equipment including labeling seed bags, lift pallets, hang mini-bulk bags, fill bags with seed, lift up to 50 lb. bags of seed. Warehouse- Ability to fix and repair pallets as well as Forklift driving, stacking mini-bulk bags in packaging. Assist in Lab- making sand trays, making retention boxes, cleaning retention area. General- cleaning work area to maintain a safe working environment, ability to perform general housekeeping tasks. - All workers hired must be 18 years of age or older and have passed a post hire drug test, paid for by the employer. Forklift training will be provided on site. Workers should expect occasional periods of little or no work because of weather, crop, or conditions beyond the employer's control. These periods can occur anytime throughout the season. Due to the type of work involved, there is a probationary period of five (5) days beginning with the first day of employment, to show the possession of the requisite physical strength and endurance to perform this type of work.
