- Job Duties:
- Employees will be maintaining cattle herd health. During this period when cattle are confined employees will need to feed the cattle corn silage/hay and keep water wells working properly. Builds & cleans corrals/shelters as needed. Vaccinations and pregnancy check cows. Assist with sorting, weighing, branding and low stress handling. Maintain all fences, corrals, buildings, improvements and livestock equipment used for proper cattle management. Must have knowledge of building and repair of fences and cattle handling. Maintain equipment in a working condition and observe safe practices. Employer may pay performance- based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer's discretion.
