Job Duties:

Temporary full-time positions available in St. Martinville, Louisiana. Manually move freight and other material in a sugar factory environment. Also, stacking material and maintaining clean work environment. 40 hrs/wk plus OT. OT hours will vary and are not guaranteed. OT based on single workweek (paid every 2 wks by check). The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. 7:00am-4:00pm M-F. Must be willing to work OT. No minimum education required. No on-the-job training provided. LASUCA will provide U.S. workers at least the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that will be offered or provided to H-2B workers. One (1) month employment experience in job offered in a raw sugar mill is the minimum required. Higher pay may be available to workers with extensive experience.
