- Job Duties:
- Climbing and performing activities on cell phone towers, activities including installing, replacing, repairing, testing and troubleshooting antennas, mounting hardware, connectors, fiber/hybrid cables, grounding and optimizing OEM equipment. Ensure foreman is apprised of progress, concerns, and deviations from plans or established schedule. Identify all materials and other resources needed to complete project. Follow all Roaming Networks Inc and applicable OSHA safety practices, perform daily job-site safety inspections on equipment prior to operation. Must be able to work extended periods of time to accomplish the objectives. Must be able to satisfactorily complete all aspects of Roaming Networks Inc training classes. use and care of hand and power tools, rigging and safety equipment. Recognizing safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner. Knowing the hazards associated tower climbing, construction and technical equipment. The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 pound load. Knowledge of and ability to operate testing equipment is a plus (i.e. RF Sweep Gear).
