- Job Duties:
- Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement or recreation facility. Collect tickets/fees; assist patrons; erect, take down, attend/operate and maintain equipment; make change; sell and serve food and drink; assist patrons. Prepare food such as cotton candy, taffy, Philly steak, Italian & Polish sausage, hamburgers, chicken tenders, elephant ears, pressed sandwiches, smoothies, iced coffee, popcorn, caramel apples, pizza, nachos, grilled tacos, ice cream cones, sundaes and fountain beverages. Set up - stock/clean and ready for service, tear down - pack up stock and close down booth, heavy lifting and physically mobile.
Hours, schedule and days vary - typically working a 9-hour shift between 10:00am – 11:00pm (sample shift time: 10am-7pm, 1 hour unpaid break); 35- 48hrs./wk. extra hours may be required or available, may include weekends and holidays.

In Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Mississippi and South Carolina, no overtime premium will be paid as it is not required under Federal, State, or local law. In Arkansas, Michigan and Ohio, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. In Kansas, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 46 hours per workweek. In Kentucky, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek; and if an employee works 7 consecutive days without reaching 40 hours the employee will be paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked on the 7th consecutive day in the workweek. In Missouri, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 52 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $16.28 - $17.97 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour.

Travel required and provided to work in Collier, Escambia, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lee, Polk and Palm Beach Co.’s, FL; Sebastian Co., AR; Allen, Clark, Dekalb, Elkhart, Steuben and Wells Co.’s, IN; Montgomery Co., AL; Fayette Co., KY; Anderson, Greenville Co.’s, SC; Cape Girardeau and Pettis Co.’s, MO; Reno Co., KS; Berrien, Hillsdale and Ottawa Co.’s, MI; Defiance, Fulton, Pauling and Williams Co.’s, OH; Hinds Co., MS.
Travel provided to all events as per itinerary. Must commute from home at prior worksite to next worksite. Optional transportation to worksites provided at no cost to the worker. Work is performed outside in all weather.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform job. On the job training provided.
