Job Duties:

Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes. Weigh, measure, and cut meats and cheeses. prepare fresh condiments, including lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Cut and grind meats, poultry and seafood to prepare for cooking. Mix ingredients for salads, pizzas, and other food items. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Take and record temperatures of food and food storage areas. Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service. Retrieve cooking utensils, pots and pans for cleaning and storage. Cleaning other kitchen equipment. Prepare beverages for customers. Take customer orders and process payments using cash registers. Deliver food and beverages to customers. Washing and cleaning utensils, pots and pans, and food preparation areas.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to physically move around the restaurant and kitchen. Must be able to operate kitchen machinery/equipment such as knives, meat slicers and ovens. Must be able to operate the cash register.
