- Job Duties:
- The role involves providing support in cleaning and disinfection of poultry houses, ancillary areas, and other support areas. The worker will examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps. The worker will inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences, as well as move or drive equipment from one location to another on the farm as necessary.

- Special Requirements:
- Four (4) months of experience working with poultry required. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Post-employment drug testing paid for by employer when applicable. Worker must be able to strictly follow biosecurity guidance provided by the farmer. Worker must be able to tolerate the strong smell of manure and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
