Job Duties:
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 53-7064 Packers and Packagers, Hand such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, and storage of crops, Grade and sort products according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage. Operate and monitor grain conditioners to ensure efficient and safe conditioning of grain to meet quality standards. Feed machines with products, using forklifts, suction gates, shovels, pitchforks and other equipment. Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Place products in containers according to grade. Weigh products or estimate their weight, visually or by feel. Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing. Guide products to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products. monitor and report grain moisture and grades. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team. Load semi’s and deliver grain. Operate fans and other equipment to condition grain and control moisture levels.

Special Requirements:
Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
