- Job Duties:
- Weaning. Feeding cattle. Working and vaccinating cattle. Maintaining feed equipment. Inspect livestock for illness/injuries. Maintaining winter grazing fences. Prepping ranch barns and grounds for freeze. Opening frozen water tanks. Snow removal. Shipping calves to market. Moving cattle to calving pastures in January. Prep barns and cattle for calving. Cleaning barns. Prepping hay equipment. Maintain fencing summer pastures. Branding cattle. Moving cattle to summer pasture end of May/ beginning of June. May need to drive to town to pick up cattle supplies. Farming with: Beef Cattle

- Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
