- Job Duties:
- Temporary, seasonal workers needed for crawfish farm. Job duties include crawfishing in boats; catching crawfish; performing crawfishing duties in fields; operating crawfish boats; manually cutting up of fish bait; placing, bating, and checking traps; grade/wash crawfish; repair/maintain traps as needed; load/unload trucks. Must be able to lift 50lbs.; random drug screening upon hire (paid for by Employer), testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination of employment. Job involves frequent stooping, repetitive movements, extensive walking, and exposure to extreme temperatures; and extensive pushing or pulling. Must have three (3) months experience in similar occupation. Overtime hours may be offered and hours vary. Higher wages may be paid based on experience. Daily work schedule includes one (1) unpaid lunch hour. Local travel between worksites in St. Landry and Rapides Parishes, LA required. Se necesitan trabajadores temporales y estacionales para la granja de cangrejos. Debe poder levantar 50 libras; la prueba aleatoria de detección de drogas al momento de la contratación (pagada por el Empleador), la prueba positiva o el incumplimiento pueden resultar en la terminación inmediata del empleo. El trabajo implica agacharse con frecuencia, movimientos repetitivos, caminar mucho y exponerse a temperaturas extremas; y empujar o tirar extensamente. Debe tener tres (3) meses de experiencia en una ocupación similar. Se pueden ofrecer horas extras y las horas varían. Se pueden pagar salarios más altos en función de la experiencia. El horario de trabajo diario incluye una (1) hora de almuerzo no remunerada. Se requiere un viaje local entre los lugares de trabajo en las parroquias de St. Landry y Rapides, LA.
