- Job Duties:
- Perform numerous tasks that are encompassed by SOC Code 45-2041 Graders and sorters. Workers will help with grading and sorting a variety of produce such as Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Jalapenos, Bell Peppers, Tomatoes (Roma, Cherry, Grape). Workers will need to demonstrate good visual acuity, with an ability to identify healthy vegetables, pests, and crops that are and are not ready for packing. Workers will be required to stand, sit, bend, kneel, stretch and squat for long periods of time while using best practices to maintain strong long term personal health. Demonstrate sufficient dexterity of hands, arms and fingers to be able to perform the principal responsibilities of the job such as position, and move materials; and to manipulate tools and equipment. Repetitively lift and carry items up to 35 lbs.
