Job Duties:

Crawfishing involves manually cutting up fish bait, baiting traps, operating motorized and push crawfish boats, traps are removed from the pond, crawfish are emptied into sacks, traps are re-baited and put back into pond, frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond, repair crawfish traps as needed, weigh and tag crawfish, wash and grade crawfish, load crawfish into trucks to deliver to markets/customers, load and unload trucks. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads, check water and water maintenance. Cleaning and treating of the seed rice for planting; Drive tractor, plow fields, planting rice crop.
