Job Duties:

Worker will be performing duties associated with SOC Code 53-3032 Heavy truck/trailer Driver, job duties to be performed include: Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy. Crank trailer landing gear up or down to safely secure vehicles. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid, performing minor repairs, or washing trucks. Couple or uncouple trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth-wheel locks. Load hopper bottom trailers and deliver grain to ports or terminals or to market for sale. Load or unload trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using special loading-related equipment or other equipment as necessary. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
