Job Duties:

We plant, grow and harvest corn, cotton, peanuts, wheat and watermelon. We need seasonal employees to operate tractors, sprayers, combines and other farm equipment and help run irrigation for the crops listed above. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops including planting, spraying, fertilizing, harvesting as well as routine farm work. Employees will need to do routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Special Requirements:

Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, walking and frequent stooping. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employer will conduct post-hire drug testing and post hire background checks at the employer's expense. Drug test are conducted to enforce a drug free workplace. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will not hire anyone with a violent or theft criminal background. Regular Driver's License and 3 months of farm experience and working with row crop.
