Job Duties:

Drive heavy and tractor-trailer trucks to transport agricultural products such as alfalfa greenchop or bales or other commodities to and from fields, storage facilities, elevators, processing plants, or delivery points. Operate vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operation. Follow all applicable state and federal transportation safety regulations. Secure and tarp loads when required. Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery records. Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and equipment checks as required. May assist with basic maintenance of trucks and trailers.

Special Requirements:

Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and meet all DOT requirements. Must have a clean driving record and ability to safely operate heavy equipment. Requires 3 months farm experience.
