- Job Duties:
- Job duties include but are not limited to: Operate farm machinery to till, plant, spray, irrigate and harvest crops. Maintain and service (wash, lubricate, repair) equipment and vehicles in the farm shop. Mow field borders and lots. Clean, maintain and repair farm buildings and grounds. Drive semi-trailer trucks to transport grain to elevators. Rogue and spray weeds. Install and operate furrow and flood irrigation systems in rice and soybeans. Applicants must please note: The entire farm, including farm housing, is a smoke-free environment. Alcohol and drugs are not permitted anywhere on the farm or in farm housing. The Workers Compensation insurance policy requires drug testing in the event of an injury.
