Job Duties:

Workers will perform manual and mechanized tasks associated with the production of hay crops. Duties include loading and unloading hay, stacking bales, operating tractors and other basic farm equipment under supervision, and performing routine maintenance such as checking oil, tire pressure, and greasing equipment. Workers will assist with irrigation activities including connecting, moving, and maintaining sprinkler systems and wheel lines, setting up and repairing irrigation pipe, and monitoring water flow to ensure proper crop coverage. Duties may also include assisting with basic agricultural construction such as installing or repairing fences, gates, and simple farm structures. Workers may drive or operate farm vehicles and equipment after receiving proper training and only as needed.
