Job Duties:

Perform duties such as drive and operate farm machinery to plant, harvest, cultivate and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, planters and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Install and maintain crop irrigation system including laying poly pipe, spill rods, levee gates and shoveling levees. Maintain power units and irrigation systems. Load and unload grains and fertilizer at storage facilities using loading equipment including augers, conveyor belts and grain decks. Sweeping and cleaning grain bins and storage facilities. Mix, load, haul chemicals and fertilizer for applicators. Tow harvest equipment. Drive trucks to transport crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Mow and maintain farm service roads. Service, wash and maintain farm machinery, equipment and vehicles. Repair buildings, fences and other structures on property. Must be willing to work long hours including weekends. Must be a team player, listen well, accept instruction and work with minimum supervision.
