Job Duties:

AEWR; US Workers: MN: $14.60; H2A Workers: MN: $12.92. Worker will assist manager in the caring of turkeys; Walk through barns checking on health and vigor of turkeys; Repair and maintenance of feed and watering equipment; Assist in placing new birds; Move birds from brooder barns to finisher; Assist in preparing for loading out birds for market; Assist in bedding birds; Move feed from holding bins to barns; Set up augers and drive feed trucks; Clean and disinfect barns and equipment; Replace light bulbs, feed pans and waterers as needed; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain inventory; Trap and destroy pests such as moles, gophers, and mice; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Weigh containers and record weights and identifying information. Must be able to speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
