- Job Duties:
- Perform a variety of manual and mechanized tasks associated with the sod and hay production including planting, cultivating and harvesting of crops. Upon occasion workers may be required to dig ditches and install water lines to sheds, barns, stock tanks and other structures on the farm. Soil preparation, operating tillage equipment, cutting equipment. Hauling bales to storage barns. Duties to include, but not limited to: Workers may drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Attach farm implements such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor and drive tractor in field to till soil and plant / cultivate crop. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
