- Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, harvest and haul grain and soybean crops. Maintain irrigation system. Bale and stack hay. Service and repair farm machinery. General farm upkeep duties such as facility maintenance and shop work.
