Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment for watering crops; Workers will be working with their hands using basic tools such as shovels, post hole diggers, concrete mixers, trencher, backhoe or other dirt moving equipment, etc.; Dig and scoop; Lift and carry pipe; Maintain irrigation systems by calibrating and hooking up power units; Verify appropriate water flow onto crop acres; Repair farm structures; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery such as skid steer, straight truck; Perform service work and installation of irrigation wells and control panels on well pumps, pivots and irrigation systems for farms within a 60 mile radius; Work with underground electric to service meters and control panels; Troubleshoot complex plumbing/electrical issues with pumps, panels and any monitoring devices; Workers will have to plumb in pumps to the irrigation systems which involves trenching and excavating. Must speak and understand English.

- Special Requirements:
- Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
