Job Duties:

We operate a grain farm growing corn, sunflower, spring wheat and winter wheat. Job duties include seeding, planting, spraying, operating a combine, grain cart and strip tilling. Employee will also do maintenance on repairs on equipment and farm vehicles. Other duties include handling seed and fertilizer, water and chemicals. Haul grain to elevators and grain from field to farm. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Special Requirements:

Must have a regular driver's license. Must have experience and ability to operate computerized monitors and displays used for GPS steering, application monitoring, control and use a combine yield monitor. Must have recent grain farming experience within the past 2 years. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Require 3 months experience.
