Job Duties:

HT Hunter Farms, a leading row crop operation dedicated to cultivating high-quality corn and soybeans. We are looking for enthusiastic seasonal workers to help apply pesticides and herbicides to our row crops. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic team, especially during the busy spring planting and summer spraying season when your contributions will be vital in achieving our farming goals. Individual will be required to operate a Hagie Sprayer. Responsible for mixing product(s) to be sprayed and completing the task of spraying, safely and efficiently. Obtain and maintain all required applicator certifications. Obtain and follow the scheduled list of product(s) to be sprayed on specific fields. Perform a pre-operating check of the sprayer and all application equipment. Utilize all equipment technology to effectively apply chemicals, fertilizers, and manure. Efficiently and effectively operate sprayer in the field. Transport equipment as requested. Clean sprayer and all equipment as needed. Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines. Communicate with the supervisor regarding equipment repairs and technology needs. Complete and submit all required paperwork. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Special Requirements:

Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines. Communicate with the supervisor regarding equipment repairs and technology needs. Complete and submit all required paperwork. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 3 months farm experience.
