- Job Duties:
- Farm around 8,000 acres of cotton, wheat, sorghum, and corn. We run Case IH tractors, combine and sprayer, as well as John Deere Stripper Bailers. We operate a mix of no till, min till, and conventional tillage. Employee will operate tractors (for tillage, moving cotton/hay, filling sprinklers tracks, blading roads, etc.), sprayer for herbicides, combine, and cotton stripper bailers. Employee will need to run and understand GPS on equipment and check/maintain sprinklers and wells. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Returning worker for consecutive seasons will get $21/hr.

- Job requires extensive sitting and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire.
