Job Duties:

We need seasonal help on our small grain and row crop farm. In February employees will need to prepare equipment for the spring planting season and spray fertilizer on the fields before planting. In the spring the employees will need to till fields and plant crops. Employees will need to do general farm labor to operate a tractor and farm truck and other farm duties including assisting with fertilizer, seed, chemicals and fuel on farm and in the field, hauling grain to the elevator. Other duties include changing digger shovels, picking rocks, helping with field drainage, removal of old fence, cleaning out grain bins, changing oil, servicing of equipment, washing equipment. Maintain farm buildings and farm yard, trimming trees and mowing. No commercial truck driving is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate ($19.50) if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
