- Job Duties:
- We operate a 2000-acre farm consisting of row crops (corn, soybeans and rice). We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production season starting with planting and ending with harvesting. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, irrigation equipment, load and unload crops or materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers, load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest crops, complete maintenance and repairs on irrigation equipment, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
