Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment and tracks; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery such as cutter, forklift, harvester to fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, turf; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Use power and manual hand tools to fashion and maintain pallets for storing sod; Communicate with crew lead and office for daily quantities needed.

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. . Lift up to 50 lbs.
