Job Duties:

Operates self-propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest hay by cutting, raking, baling, hauling; adjusts settings of harvesting machinery; drives truck to transport crops to storage area; directs and monitors workers during harvesting; repairs and maintains machinery; cleans work areas; informs farm manager of crop progress; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Itinerary is estimated based on normal conditions and is subject to change. Employer will provide an effective means at no cost, such as radio transmitter, wireless device, or other types of electronic communication systems, of communicating with persons capable of helping in case of an emergency.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
