Job Duties:
Job requires operating farm equipment including tractors, self-propelled sprayers, combines, forklifts, and skid steers to till soil, plant, fertilize, cultivate, and harvest crops. Non-CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Job will also require workers to assist with cleaning wheat seed; operate seed mill; load trucks and haul grain to storage facility or market; clean grain bins and perform grain bin maintenance; repair, service, and maintain center pivot irrigation systems and field and shop equipment; and operate tillage equipment, air drills, grain augers, and grain cleaning equipment. Manual labor tasks will include grain handling, operating sweep augers in grain bins, servicing center pivot systems, feeding livestock, erecting electrical property borders and cleaning around farm buildings and shop areas. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.

Special Requirements:
Lifting will be required when working with seed bags, changing tires on equipment and center pivots, and performing shop duties. Workers may be exposed to extreme temperatures during July during wheat harvest and during fall weather, should an early snowstorm occur. Worker's must have, or be able to obtain, a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Random drug testing and criminal background checks may occur post-hire at the employers expense. These checks may be performed to ensure safe housing and work environments for all workers. Positive drug test results or refusal to comply with testing may result in termination of employment. If employer discovers a criminal conviction record or status as a registered sex offender that employer reasonably believes, consistent with current law, will impair the safety and living conditions of other workers, the employer may terminate the worker (foreign and/or domestic) with notification to OFLC and DHS in accordance with 20 CFR 655.122(n).
