- Calve out calves during the calving season. Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Set, operate and maintain all types of farming equipment to plant, cultivate, harvest and haul corn and bean crops. Chop and haul silage. General farm related duties such as servicing equipment, shop work, and facility maintenance. Move livestock to and from summer grazing pastures.
