- Job Duties:
- Workers will assist in harvesting Kenaf in the field. While working in the Gin, must be able to monitor and adjust equipment and controls. Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure that it is clean and in safe working order. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and minor adjustments when necessary. Assisting in replacing defective parts, components, or systems. May assist in minor maintenance of equipment , conduct all safety checks on equipment. Workers must be able to walk, bend and sit for long periods of time. Work is done in all kinds of weather(from extreme heat, rain and extreme cold). Workers may also operate tractors and loaders. The ability of an employee to safely operate machinery will be left to the discretion of management. Workers will be required to keep work stations and facilities clean and neat.
