- Job Duties:
- Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties contained within SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, spraying, harvesting, and forage crops such as wheat, hay, soybeans, corn; Operate or tend farm equipment used in agricultural production such as tractor, combine, planter, grain cart, mower, tillage tool; Adjust farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Attach farm implements using bolts and hand tools; Irrigate soil using center pivot and pipe irrigation systems; Maintenance and repair of all types of farm, irrigation, and other equipment, supporting equipment, and upkeep of farm and related facilities. Approximate staggered entry: 5 workers to begin Feb 15 and 5 workers to begin Aug 1.

- Special Requirements:
- Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
