Job Duties:

Workers will directly participate in activities related to both vegetables and horticulture nursery crop production. These responsibilities include in the vegetable production: seeding, planting, weeding, hand harvesting, hoeing and packing of row crop vegetables. With the horticulture production responsibilities include transplanting/planting, weeding, pruning, watering, & digging. Workers may install, move or make repairs to irrigation systems. Install plastic, and hoops for greenhouses using hand tools, screws, clips, ground nails and tarps. May apply fertilizer. Workers may maintain grounds, mowing, trimming and edging. May drive tractor/skid steer & attach farm implements to cultivate fields and move plants. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
