Job Duties:

Riverview Farms LLC is requesting a temporary worker with our farm operations. We operate a corn, rice, soybeans and cotton farm. We have a farm with row crops and in the spring, we get our fields ready to plant the crops. Some days we are stretched with the farming operation that we need a steady worker to help my one full time worker with farm duties- whether it is working on equipment, plowing, planting or loading hay. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, irrigation equipment, operate other farm equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, fertilize, dust, and spray crops, spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers, attach equipment extensions or accessories, operate equipment to harvest crops, drive pickup trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, assist with soil testing. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
