- Job Duties:
- We farm 4,200 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, and alfalfa. The soybeans, oats, and wheat are all grown for seed production. We do all of your own field work. We need seasonal employees to help plant and harvest alfalfa, wheat, oats, corn silage, soybeans and corn. During the summer we will walk the seed production fields and pick out off types. Employees will assist in the spring running tender trucks and operating tractors, operating harvesters, and operating trucks to haul harvested crops to storage locations in summer and fall. In the early spring we will need help treating and packaging seed. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and buildings which will include cleaning and washing. No commercial truck driving is required. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

- Job requires extensive sitting, repetitive movements and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to walk for extended periods of time. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
