Job Duties:

Duties may include: General farm labor. Drive tractor, farm truck, grain cart to perform crop raising duties. Plant, fertilize, cultivate, harvest crops using tractor drawn machinery. Weigh trucks, enter scale tickets, haul grain to market. Haul and spread fertilizer and manure. Clean, check, maintain, repair field ready and irrigation equipment. Maintain fence, haul rock and maintain roadways for irrigation purposes. Assist with dirt work operations to make fields drain. Clear tree/brush. Clean grain bins. Spray, mow, maintain/paint farm structures. Run errands/pick up parts & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements:

Must be 18 due to equipment use. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer. Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash.
