Job Duties:

We are a 4500 acre row crop farming/cattle operation. we grow cotton and wheat primarily. We also have 90 acres of sod grass we harvest year around. All of our row crop and sod equipment is within 8 years or newer. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; clean work areas; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, planters, self-propelled machinery, skid steers, sprayers, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, cotton, hay, sod, wheat. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
